Documentary Mondays: Ramin

The Documentary Mondays cycle will feature the film Ramin. The film tells the story of the journey of an old man, a lone hero who also embodies the past and present of Georgia. A former wrestler, who once managed to knock down seven rivals in less than one minute, is a reminder of a faded glory, which was a kind of patriotism, given that wrestling is a Georgian national sport. Now he sets out on a journey to his mother's grave and he longs to meet a woman whom he loved and lost fifty years ago.
