Kinoautomat Again Calls for Choices

After going on tour, the first ever interactive movie, Kinoautomat by Radúz Činčera, returns to its home cinema. Kino Světozor is where the first viewers in our country had the chance to see it, nearly 40 years ago. Beginning September 10, 2009, audiences will have another 7 opportunities to experience it.

Kinoautomat will be presented by Josef Polášek and Tomáš Matonoha.

Back from Tour
Two years ago, Kino Světozor hosted a revival of Kinoautomat after 40 years, which triggered the rebirth of the phenomenon of Radúz Činčera. Kinoautomat then went on tour across the Czech Republic and over two years it visited the Summer Film School in Uherské Hradiště, Boskovice, Hradec Králové, Jihlava, Brno, Děčín and other towns. It also traveled abroad, namely to the Slovak edition of Febiofest in Bratislava, Košice, and Basel where it was introduced in English and German. It was screened at the festival in Motovun (Croatia), Newcastle, the Offscreen festival in Brussels, and also in Washington, DC. Over the past 24 months, more than 15,000 spectators have seen Kinoautomat live. This autumn Kinoautomat is heading for a great tour across Italy in the newly made Italian version. Next year, it will return to the USA, in both New York and Los Angeles.
