Stupid Boy

This is the second film of Swiss director Lionel Baier. His first movie was a document about a demonstration of homosexuals in Sion – in the middle of Swiss Alps, La parade (notre histoire). The main character of Stupid boy, naďve Loďc, wants to be an “impressionistic” photographer, but for the present he takes the pictures only by mobile phone. He changed his life after his quarrel with his flatmate Marie. The football player Rui Pedro Alves plays an important role. With this character Stupid boy is also about celebrity and about desire for being a famous star.
