A Good Woman

Lady Winndermere /S. Johansson/ suspects her husband is having a love affair with Mrs. Erlynn /H. Hunt/, a newcomer to town with the reputation of leading a scandalous life. On the other hand she is strongly attracted to Lord Darlington’s /S. C. Moore/ amorous proposals and ready to destroy her marriage. The mysterious Mrs. Erlynn has a good reason to discourage her from doing such a foolish thing. The film is based on Oscar Wild’s play Lady Winderemere’s Fan.
