Pride and Prejudice

An adaptation of Jane Austen's classic novel about five sisters trying to make their way in 19th century England. Their mother is anxious to marry them off to wealthy young gentlemen. Only Elizabeth resists her mother’s plan with a silent support of her father. But when she meets Mr. Darcy, an eligible, wealthy young man, she starts to think about marriage. Mark unfortunately appears to be arrogant and snobbish which makes him undesirable, especially when there is a suspicion that he caused an argument between Elizabeth’s sister Jane and her fiancé, Mr. Bingley.
