(El tiempo nublado) Director: Arami Ullón, CH-PY, 2014, English, Spanish version / Czech and English subtitles, 92 min
Arami Ullon is a Paraguayan filmmaker in her 30s who lives in Switzerland. She has a sick mother back home who suffers from epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. She needs more than the housekeeper can provide, so Arami, who has been tortured by doubts and guilt for not having devoted more attention to her mother, now faces a tough decision about how to best take care of her. This sensitively rendered film is a close-up look into the director's private life, in which we become the witnesses of an affectionate and bitter dialogue between two human beings.
