My Brother Tom
(My Brother Tom) Director: Dom Rotheroe, GB, 2001, English version / Czech subtitles, 109 min
A story about two teenagers - two soulmates - looking for a way out of their traumatized lives. In the world of “their woods,” they form a strong yet fragile bond and each return to reality is extremely painful. Documentarist Dom Rotheroe wanted to capture the intensity and intimacy of the main characters’ relation in his debut and so he decided to use digital camera and experienced Dutch cinematographer Robby Müller who worked with directors such as Jim Jarmusch, Wim Wenders and Lars von Trier.
