Press Start Vol. 2 IDDQD

In thematical evening "Press Start to begin IDDQD - Vol.2" we will look under the skin of today most popular videogaming genre: action shooters. Journalist John Blue will describe the history of this turbulent genre which started before Wolfenstein 3D and culminates in recent videogames like Modern Warfare or Arma 3. Martin Vano, the former designer of Arma 3, will introduce us to the art of interactive war in detailed look at production of wargame. Film theorist Zdeněk Blaha will show us how visual style of first person shooters influenced movie industry through the last twenty years. Our hosts for the evening will be Bohdan Heblík and Pavel Dobrojvský.
