Sleeping beauty | The Royal Ballet

The Sleeping Beauty is the pinnacle of classical ballet: a perfect marriage of Petipa’s choreography and Tchaikovsky’s music, as well as a glorious challenge for every dancer on stage. The royal court, the panoramic journey of the Prince to the overgrown castle and the great celebratory dances of the happy ending (in which other famous fairytale figures appear) are all brought to life by the luscious designs of this celebrated production, recreated in 2006 to mark the 75th anniversary of the The Royal Ballet.
