K.Ch.

K.Ch. is a student documentary dealing with a forgotten life story of Mrs. Karla Charvátová, former female political prisoner of the Czechoslovak regime. Mrs. Charvatová was raped in the fall 1948 by a prison guard in Secret police´s interrogation prison and got pregnant. The documentary offers a confrontation of mother and daughter who was adopted soon after birth. The lives of both women were shaped by the socialist dictatorship in a different way. They met 50 years later again. Finding so many dilemmas in one life story is very rare, especially when the main characters cope with them with such a nobleness.
