Elizabet leaves her alcoholic husband and together with her children, she finds a place to stay in a community in the suburb of Stockholm. In the beginning, it seems to be impossible to live with little strange housemates but the mistrust changes step by step into mutual respect and new friendships. The story takes place in 70‘s and it does not avoid issues such as free love or politics.
