The TINA B. Festival 2011 will begin showing a selection of quality contemporary art in Prague in October! For the sixth time more than 100 artists from around the world will converge on Prague this year.

The sixth year of the TINA B. Festival in 2011 will again present visitors with video art projects. These projects have in previous years ranked among the most important and remarkable events of the festival. The Czech curator Aleš Vašíček has selected works by contemporary artists working in this untraditional genre. He has selected three video projections for screening at BIO OKO cinema in the Holešovice district. You can look forward to the first of them as part of TINA B.’s main programme on Friday, 21 October, starting at 8pm, and there will be further screenings on Monday, 31 October, and Friday, 11 November at 6pm.
There will be three art videos screened as part of the video projections. The first is by the Dutch artist Joost Conijn, the second by the Moravian photographer and filmmaker Vojta Dukát. The third, presented as part of the video screenings at BIO OKO, will transport viewers to faraway Afghanistan...
