This is the story about the moving relationship of seven year old Tingya with his old and sick bull Chitangya. The bull is injured and Tingya's family cannot continue using him to work at the farm. Tingya's dad needs to buy a new bull, and the only way to get money is to kill Chitangya and sell his meat. Tingya is shaken by his father's decision and decides to try everything in order to save his animal friend. This great debut by director Mangeshe Hadawaleho has won numerous awards all over India, including the National Film Award for best children's role in 2008.
