Gena is a typical outsider.... no future, no job, and a host of problems. He makes a living as a drug-trafficker, covering a wide territory from Asia to Europe. One day he decides to give it all up and escape from his past to France – only to discover it won‘t be as easy as it sounds. To begin a new life, one needs a lot of money, and Gena knows of only one way to make it. While trying to collect his last payment in Moscow, he is cornered by the Mafia who will not easily let him off the hook. What ensues is a wild escape from Moscow across half of Europe... In the lead role of this LUX prize-nominated film is the renouned Lithuanian director Šarūnas Bartas (Seven Invisible Men, Freedom).
