A Tourist In One's Own House

Far, far away in the north where the day begins and where the oceans meet lays a small village called New Chaplino. The government decided to make it a tourist destination. It's winter, minus 30 degree of Celsius. The tourists aren't coming. What remains are only memories of them - footprints half covered by snow. A documentary about the influence of tourism on the local ethnics which are still untouched by civilization and about the changes in the perception of their own culture - taking place in the area of the far north of Russia - Chukotka.
