Autumn in My Street

This striking portrayal of life in a suburban housing project in the Serbian city of Novi Sad follows two youngsters that made a deal to go to the sea together. The traditional road movie baseline of the story is deformed by the hopeless reality of the housing project where Tito worshipers, drug addicts, dealers, ultra-nationalists, the homeless and aimless youngsters are forced to cohabit. In addition to non-actors and realistic setting, the authenticity of the film is strengthened by scenes scripted in music video style and long camera shots following the actors in dramatic situations
