Black Cat, White Cat

“Black Cat White Cat” is Kusturica´s sixth film. Its first screening took place at the IFF in Venice and won a Silver Lion for direction. Since then it has been successful everywhere – at festivals as well as in cinemas. The plot of the story is not as important as its characters who are caught in a flow of unbelievable situations, thoughts, visions, emotions and revelry. All this is underlined by the riveting sound of Gypsy music.
