Project 100 - 2010

The 16th annual edition of Project 100 brings a total of eight films, three of them labeled as „film noir“: The Big Sleep (1946) featuring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall in lead roles, The Man from London directed by Béla Tarr (2007) and Aki Kaurismäki's I Hired a Contract Killer (1990). The other classics of Project 100 will be Harold and Maude, staring Bud Cort and Ruth Gordon (dir. Hal Ashby, 1971), Play It Again, Sam starring Woody Allen and Diane Keaton (dir. Herbert Ross, 1972) and Birds, Orphans and Fools by Juraj Jakubisko (1969). Current cinema will be represented by Michael Haneke's The White Ribbon (2009) and the British Film, Fish Tank (dir. Andrea Arnold, 2009).
