Heiner Goebbels, The Composer

An evening dedicated to the life and works of Heiner Goebbels (*1952). This revolutionary German composer, theatre-director and musician is ranked amongst the world’s most prominent authors of contemporary music and musical theatre; he’s has been nominated for the Grammy Awards and his works feature on important world festivals.

The screening of this documentary is a part of the supporting program of the festival Struny podzimu (The Strings of Autumn). Next evening, as part of the festival, Orchestr BERG and director duo SKUTR will introduce together a new original version of his unique work Schwarz auf Weiss, which moves between music and theatre.
