La Bohème

Giacomo Puccini's immortal opera is brought to life in a new, specially filmed, big budget feature-film version directed by Academy Award nominee Robert Dornhelm. La Bohème is the tragic love story of Mimi (Anna Netrebko) and Rodolfo (Rolando Villazón), set in Paris in the year 1830. The opera first appeared on the stage in Torino, Italy on February 1, 1896, and is still one of the most popular operas today.
