The film examines in detail these representations which have markedly broken down the narrow stereotypes of previous decades. This carefully researched documentary puts television entertainment into the context of social events and shows that the evolution of the depiction of GLBT characters isn’t a result of a sudden interest among television community in human rights but recognition of the commercial potential of queer clientele.
