Family Meeting

When the Wentus Blues Band celebrate their 20th anniversary, they do it in style, inviting some of the finest practitioners of the form - ex-Rolling Stone Mick Taylor, Fabulous Thunderbirds frontman Kim Wilson, John Lee Hooker sideman Eddie Kirkland, Barrence Whitfield and more - to a Czarist-era Helsinki theater for an all-star show. Backstage the Finns and their guests are like family, the "elders" treated with appropriate affection and respect; under the lights they radiate an equal, unbounded energy, bonding in their shared passion for the blues.
