After the Wedding

Jacob Pederson lives in Bombay, India, and assists in the running of an orphanage and a school. With growing pressure on the facilities, which is on the verge of bankruptcy, the orphanage receives an offer of funding from wealthy Danish citizen Jorgen. In order to obtain the money, Jacob must travel to meet with Jorgen. He meets with him, but Jorgen does not display much interest. He invites Jacob to attend his daughter Anna's wedding. After the wedding ceremony, Anna decides to make a speech – and it is this speech that will shatter Jacob's world.
