Gone Baby Gone

A couple of new detectives Patrick Kenzie (Cassey Affleck) and Angie Genarro (Michelle Monaghan) have originally wanted to reject the case of a four-year-old kidnapped Amanda and had they known what hard decisions await them, their choice would have been different. Gradually and with the help of detective Remy (Ed Harris) and Nick (John Ashton) they work their way through the criminal mud, dense with addicts and pedophiles, while the tracks lead over Amanda's drug abusing mother to a load of money. A film directing debut of Ben Afflect excellently plays with the overall meaning of the story, in which one cannot be sure till the very last dilemma how all this shall end.
