(Blok dokumentů FAMU III.) Director: Adam Olha / Jan V. Sacher / Vladimír Voříšek / Jan Palát / Gyula Nemes, ČR, 2004, české verze, 75 min
SMRT LESNÍ: A report about death, monuments and the worries of the members
of The Association of Friends of Small Relics “Patriot” in Jizerské hory. / MACHINA: A documentary portrait of driver of Prague’s metro. His abandoned
dream (drive a train in a romantic countryside) and hobby (building train
models) versus the start that could have changed his life, but it didn’t. / NAPROTI DLANI STOJÍCÍ: Autopsy praxis for callous philosophers – a thumb
that is finally the place of doomsday. / TEORIE: Film possibility. A subtle butterfly takes us up in an elevator to
the first pictures of our world, a young woman lost a man. One day he went out
for milk and never came back. An existential appeal “do you want me?” offering
THREE WAYS of grasping the world: a key from a hood – get the blues from the
key – then the TV – from the TV to the boiling tube – run through the brain it disappears
in front of the camera – through the laboratory of thinking – and no doubt,
no delay and in the end the end: THEORY. / HRÁZ POMÍJIVOSTI: This experimental documentary monitors for
three years the barrage in the centre of Budapest on the peninsula Kopaszi that waits
for demolition. Old film material cut right in the camera Admira breathes together with
nature and the locals. The sound is handled by a recording of the train Dunakeszi,
which is trying to play a composition by Ludwig van Beethoven Egmont. //
