Raging Bull

Martin Scorsese´s film is shot according to an autobiography about the legendary boxer Jake La Mott. The Raging Bull is about his public, as well as private life. The beginning and the end of the film is framed by a sequence from 1964 in which a fattish man prepares himself for a show in one of New York’s night clubs. The plot goes back to 1941 to monitor La Mott´s fights in boxing rings, his quiet fights with the underworld and his stormy family life.
