PLEIX screening is a selection of short movies from this artistic organization that will be presented by its project manager, Laetitia Rouxel. PLEIX is a community of digital artists (graphic designers, 3D artists, musicians...) all based in Paris, willing to mix their skills to gain greater freedom for various projects. They never put their individual names but sign their different projects under PLEIX one. Their inspiration is very wild since they are seven coming from many different fields like cinema, visual art, TV, comics, books, cartoons etc.. PLEIX touch could be described as a common work on limits, contradictions and accidents that show the fragility of digital world. These artists produce tension by joining together heterogeneous graphics, videos and sounds. Lots of tracks in the videos are from Bleip, a musician and a video editor from the Pleix collective. But you will also recognize lots of other famous ones: Vitalic, Bliss, Kid606, Futureshock, Athlete, Plaid…
