Stranger Than Fiction

Harold Crick (Will Ferrel) is an ordinary clerk, whose life is fully made up of daily routines, of getting up and getting to bed mechanically. Every morning he counts the movements of his toothbrush (76 times up and down for each tooth), a bus to work at 8.17, where he deals with 7,134 of a tax documentation on average. Any change of a perfectly calculated life seems impossible, but one day in Harold’s head there appears a VOICE (Emma Thompson). VOICE knows all the details of Harold’s mind and begins poetically to comment upon everything that he does. What if Harold is only a literary character and the voice a voice of a writer writing the story? A voice that also mentions Harold is about to die soon …
