Said's Journey

This animated picture tells the story of Said, a young Moroccan boy who crosses over the boundary of dreams while fishing. The youngster enters a remote and opulent world, where everyone would like to be. He goes to places his father went to. He becomes familiar with places where one can become deluded into thinking that they offer unlimited opportunities. But he realises that the perfect way of life is nothing but a nice idea and a colourful advertisement. He recognises that the world of colour and exotic rhythms he has dreamed about is completely different from the one that exists in real life. It is possible here to travel through time and space and to get to know the remote recesses of the human mind. At the same time, however, the film uncovers the false facade of the inaccessible palace, which is represented as the perfect goal by people from poor districts.
